Weisenbl has recently launched the AG10 Series High-Pressure Diaphragm Pump. This is not a lab prototype – the AG10 has already been reliably supplied and operated long-term in multiple machine tool manufacturing facilities, proving its durability and performance under demanding conditions.
The AG10 Series features a seal-less, hydraulically balanced diaphragm design that eliminates leakage risks and allows prolonged dry-run without damage. For common machine tool applications such as coolant, cutting fluid, and contaminated cooling water circulation, the AG10 offers three significant advantages:
- Abrasive particle handling
– Capable of transferring fluids containing ≤0.5 mm solid particles, with significantly longer valve and diaphragm life compared to traditional plunger pumps.
- Stable, low-pulsation flow
– Multiple diaphragms work together to deliver smooth, linear output, which helps improve surface finish uniformity in machining operations.
– No mechanical seals or packing to replace regularly, drastically reducing unplanned downtime.
The AG10 Series achieves a maximum flow rate of 33.4 L/min and a maximum pressure of 1500 psi (103 bar) with metallic liquid ends. A wide range of wetted materials is available, including 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy, PP, and PVDF, to suit various corrosive media.
